- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanics start at $43.95/hour
 - Earn up to $50/hour with certifications such as CVIP, Class 1/3 licences, and OEM training

 - Steady hours and pay: full-time, year-round work with no rotations, camps, or weeks away from family
 
The Role
- Problem Solving (20%): Review detailed work orders from Service Advisors, diagnose engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems using OEM tools, document findings, and plan repair timelines
 - Repair & Rebuild (70%): Perform hands-on mechanical and diagnostic work, test and verify repairs meet safety and performance standards, and coordinate with Parts Technicians for efficient turnaround
 - Reporting & Training (10%): Accurately track time and repair details, and participate in continuous learning and in-house technical training
 
What You Bring
- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate
 - 5+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment or Heavy Duty Mechanic (Freightliner experience an asset)
 - Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and diagnostic codes
 - CVIP Licence or willingness to obtain upon hire
 - Class 1 or 3 driver’s licence (asset)
