You will work alongside experienced Journeypersons and Shop Foremen who lead with patience, respect, and technical credibility. We have built a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture that encourages learning, asking questions, and growing from experience.

The Role
Repair (Approx. 70%)
Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment under the guidance of Journeypersons and Foremen
Test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and are operating properly
Coordinate with Parts Technicians to ensure parts required for repairs are in stock or ordered
Problem Solving (Approx. 20%)
Review repair concerns and work orders provided by Service Advisors
Assist with diagnostics on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools
Learn to interpret results, document findings, and support repair timelines
Reporting & Training (Approx. 10%)
Accurately track time and document all work performed
Participate in continuous training and upskilling to advance through apprenticeship levels and stay current with evolving truck technology

Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician (2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year)
Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
