The Role
Repair (Approx. 70%)
Perform hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment
Test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Coordinate with Parts Technicians to ensure required components are available or ordered
Problem Solving (Approx. 20%)
Review detailed repair concerns provided by Service Advisors
Diagnose complex engine, transmission, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools
Interpret results, document findings, and establish accurate repair timelines
Reporting & Training (Approx. 10%)
Accurately track time and document all repair work performed
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and procedures

Education & Certification
Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred)
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
