The Role
Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment
Perform Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIP) if licensed
Diagnose and repair Detroit Diesel and Cummins engines (asset)
Work with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air systems
Maintain accurate service records and follow OEM specifications
Monday to Friday day shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Education
Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification
CVIP License is a strong asset
Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
Experience
5+ years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic on commercial trucks
Detroit Diesel and/or Cummins engine experience is an asset
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
