Parts Technician – Evening Shift
(11:30 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Paid Well
Our total compensation package offers health, dental, EFAP, vision and life insurance. Compensation for this position is $50,000 – $75,000 annually, based on experience and education. This position is performance-based bonus eligible.
The Role
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM at our Calgary branch.
Order Processing – 50% of your time
• Fulfilling work orders for the service department to ensure technicians have the parts they need without delay
• Processing orders from PDCs, other dealers and suppliers
• Monitoring ETAs and updating internal teams on part arrivals
• Learning and effectively using the company business system (Procede) and supplier platforms such as CAT, Cummins, Paragon and others
Customer Service and Internal Support – 40% of your time
• Supporting internal technicians and service advisors during peak afternoon and evening operations
• Assisting walk-in customers in a timely and professional manner
• Communicating clearly with Parts, Service and other departments to maintain workflow efficiency
• Maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Ad Hoc Duties – 10% and it’s important
• Replenishing assigned display and storage areas
• Ensuring pricing accuracy and maintaining a clean and organized parts department
• Participating in available training and department meetings
• Processing credit card and debit transactions
• Completing product return inspections, refunds and core credits
Education / Certification
• Minimum high school diploma required
• Journeyman Parts Technician certification preferred
Experience
• Minimum two years of parts experience in the heavy equipment or commercial vehicle industry preferred
• Professional, organized and able to work safely and effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Comfortable working independently into the evening
