The Role
This position will focus on general repairs, CVIPs, preventative maintenance, and some troubleshooting on heavy duty trucks and equipment.
Repair & Maintenance
• Perform general repairs and maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment
• Complete CVIP inspections and related repairs
• Test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Coordinate with Parts Technicians to ensure required components are available or ordered
Troubleshooting
• Perform some troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems
• Review repair concerns provided by Service Advisors
• Interpret findings, document work completed, and communicate accurate repair timelines
Documentation & Training
• Accurately track time and document all repair work performed
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and procedures

Day Shift | Tuesday to Friday
• 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 10.5 hours per day
• 42 hours per week
Education & Certification
• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician required
• Red Seal preferred
• CVIP certification is an asset
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
