What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll build your skills through hands-on experience while contributing to the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles.
You'll:
Assist Journeypersons with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and component replacement
Learn proper repair procedures, diagnostic techniques, and manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist with identifying required parts and tools
Accurately document completed work
Progress through your apprenticeship while continuing to develop your technical skills
What You'll Bring
Registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician
Passion for building a long-term career in the heavy-duty trade
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assets
Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's Licence
